Abstract

Research Idea Details in Brief: This study aims to measure the impact of using health infographics on improving public understanding and trust in health information circulated via social media, compared to traditional textual content. The study adopted a quasi-experimental approach, by randomly assigning participants to two groups; the first group was presented with health content in infographic format, while the second group was presented with the same content in textual format. The two groups were compared across several axes, including knowledge, clarity, and trust, visual appeal, and behavioral intention. The results showed the superiority of health infographics in improving the level of knowledge, while no statistically significant differences were found in the other axes. The study highlights the importance of organized visual design in simplifying health information and enhancing the effectiveness of digital health communication.
